My favorite read aloud would have to be any of the Tacky the Penguin stories. My students ALWAYS get a huge kick out of him and they always walk away learning a special message. I personally love Tacky too. :)

My favorite readaloud isWhen Jessie Came Across the Sea.. it always makes me cry and my students really relate since most of their parents left their grandparents behind to move here.
