I got rid of my desk this year. I have a bookshelf and a small bench that just fits my computer. But what I find myself doing is spreading out over our small group (half donut shaped) table. Not good when you want to do guided reading at that table!
I have a horseshoe table and a desk. I've never had a desk in my classroom before and I find that now that I have two work spaces, I spread out more than before! Miss King's Enchanted Kingdom

I have a desk, and a table, and many bookshelves…. and my papers just seem to find their way spread out on ALL of them. :)
